Ribbon Earrings in Silver and Black

The Ribbon earrings translate a romantic gesture into a sculptural form. Inspired by the ribbons Seidler’s daughter Vivienne ties around her ears and wrists as improvised jewelry, their front-and back design suggest a ribbon passing through the ear.

The front shifts from polished metal into hand-painted black enamel and can be worn alone as a graphic line of metal and color. A second ribbon-like element suspends from the earring back, moving behind the ear and completing the piece.
