River Necklace

Named for Seidler’s son River, this necklace began with a favorite toy car that River gave his father to take on his travels to Italy while designing the collection.

Seidler reworked the familiar object through an architectural lens, redrawing and streamlining its form before setting it with Austrian crystals coated in 18K gold. The wheels remain fully functional, preserving something of the original toy’s spirit.

The necklace’s compact symmetry that recalls an Art Deco scarab, while holding a memory entirely its own. Gold beaded accents finish the adjustable chain.
